November / December shows

November 10th, 12th, 14th, 15th: Pete Vash, A Project Manager for Lightwave Solar Electric, talks about the latest in solar / photovoltaic technology.

November 17th, 19th, 21st, 22nd: Adam Turtle, co-owner / operator of "Earth Advocates Research Farm" in Summertown,TN , talks about gardening, permaculture, bamboo, and spirituality as only he can.

November 24th, 26th, 28th, 29th: Mark Schwartz, former Principal Architect for the State of TN, as well as for Metro-Davidson, where he handled major infrastructural projects for many years. Mark is now the founder of a collaborative network of architects, engineers, builders and materials providers known as "greenMARK COLLABORATIVE", coordinating sustainable building and other major projects (e.g., using landfill waste to produce energy).


December 1st, 3rd, 5th, 6th: Theresa Kennedy and Scott Davis join me to talk about the upcoming "Compass VI Conference on Green Jobs", being held Fri. and Sat., December 4th and 5th at Cohn Adult Learning Center in Nashville, TN. For more info.and to register, go to www.taptn.org.

December 8th, 10th, 12th, 13th: Albert Bates, Director of the Ecovillage Training Center at the Farm in Summertown, TN, co-founder of Global Ecovillages Network, permaculturalist and author of 13 (soon 14) books on multiple topics (mostly environmental) talks about peak oil, Transition Hohenwald and carbon farming. I love this guy!
